Ever since Nach Baliye 9 has been announced, it created a lot of buzz amongst the audience. So much so that there were many reports about which TV couple will grace the show. However, the makers have still not unveiled the confirmed list of the contestants,  we hear that Naagin actress Mouni Roy will mark an entry on the show. Before you guys jump into any conclusions, the actress is not participating as a contestant but as a performer for the opening act.

According to Mumbai Mirror, a source close to the development said that Mouni rehearsed for several days as it is going to be a long performance. "While it has been pre-recorded for the premiere, she will join Salman and the contestants for the shoot again for a brief segment." While interacting with the tabloid, Mouni said, "I would love to do something related to Kathak and other classical dance forms. That’s something I have dreamt of doing since I was a little girl."

Ms. Roy has performed at various shows and she was also a part of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Knowing what an ace dancer she is, it would be indeed interesting to watch Mouni at the premiere night.

On the work front, the Gold actress was supposed to star in Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Bole Chudiyan but walked out of the film. The makers cited her unprofessionalism as the reason for the exit. Post her departure, numerous actresses’ names were doing the rounds. However, the latest reports state that the makers have found their leading lady in Tamannaah Bhatia.

Mouni will be seen next in Made in China. She would be sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao. She will also be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Brahmastra which is helmed by Ayan Mukerji.
